Firecrackers blast

Three people were killed and one was injured after a firecrackers shop in Central China's Henan Province exploded Tuesday, local authorities said Wednesday.

The accident happened at about 4 pm at Runan county when the two-story building used to store the firecrackers was flattened.

The workshop belonged to migrant worker Wang Changhai, who planned to sell firecrackers during the period of Spring Festival, which falls on February 14.
