13 pandas give birth in Bifengxia

After the Sichuan earthquake last May, the China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center sent all the pandas from Wolong Base to other bases which have the feeding condition, including Bifengxia Base, Ya'an City. Although there were not enough pens, 13 female pandas gave birth to 16 pandas cubs this year in their new home. This year had the most number of pandas become mothers, though the number of cubs was the same as before.
