Chinese president addresses World Media Summit

Chinese President Hu Jintao addressed the World Media Summit which opened Friday in Beijing.

About 300 representatives from more than 170 media outlets from around the world attended the summit at the Great Hall of the People.

Delegates from wire services, radio and television broadcasters, newspapers and magazines, and online media will focus on how to survive, develop and achieve cooperation and a win-win situation as well as realize strategic transformation by using new technologies.
