About a dozen foreigners were seen with Beijing police officials on Thursday, cruising around China's National Grand Theatre in battery-powered patrol carts, reported "qianlong.com", a Beijing-based news website.
The foreigners, who are living in China to learn more about the country's culture, spent the afternoon patrolling with the police to learn about the daily work life of Beijing's law and enforcement personnel.
Serving as tour guides, the police officials showed the foreigners around the city and taught them about China's rules and regulations to help them live more easily in a new country.
Coming from more than ten different countries, including the UK, Germany and South Korea, the foreigners volunteered to share what they learned with new visitors to China.
