Court officials in trouble

Qiao Guo, the president of the People's Court in Wolong district, Nanyang, Henan Province, and two other officials were given administrative warnings and punishment for a drunk driving-related fatality.

An investigation revealed that a police officer of the court, Qu Zhe, still drove a police car even though he was drunk. He hit and killed a person surnamed Wang on October 14.

Qu has donated 180,000 yuan ($26,360) to the victim's family.
