Bus crash kills six

Six people were killed and four others were seriously injured after a coach overturned in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on Tuesday, local police said.

The accident occurred at around 5 pm on a highway section in Binxian county when the coach, with 48 passengers and two drivers aboard, overturned.

The bus driver, remaining intact in the accident, was under police control, said Wang Xiaoxi, vice mayor of Harbin.

Fatal collapse

Five workers were killed and another was injured at a scaffolding collapse accident in East China's Jiangsu Province on Tuesday, police said.

The accident occurred in Jiawang district in Xuzhou at the construction site of the Beijing- Shanghai Express Railway.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Man kills couple

A man was detained Monday after he allegedly stabbed two people to death over wage arrears in Zhongshan in South China's Guangdong Province, local police said.

Investigation showed that the tragedy happened after Zheng tried to get his wage of 2,500 yuan ($366) from the victims, who were his employers.

The victims died at the scene.
