US President Barack Obama intruded a four-nation conference December 18 at Copenhagen after being snubbed twice by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
Leaders from China, India, Brazil and South Africa were present at the meeting when Obama walked into the room without an invitation, saying "Are you ready to meet me, Mr Premier?"
China twice refused to attend meetings when Obama was present as a protest to the US demanding China to accept international inspections on emissions cuts. Wen reiterated that China promises to cut 40 percent to 50 percent of greenhouse emissions per unit of GDP below 2005 levels by 2050.
US officials denied Obama's intrusion, saying he was expecting to meet Wen at 7 pm, but the other three leaders were unexpectedly there, according to the International Finance News.
