People's Government, People's Communist Committee (XJPCC) of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region and the Ministry of Science and Technology held the third cooperation work conference between the autonomous region and the ministry March 13, 2010, in a bid to boost development of Xinjiang.

Wang Lequan, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee (CPPCC) and also secretary of CPC Xin Jiang Committee, and Wan Gang, vice chairman of the National Committee of CPPCC, also minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology attended the conference and made speeches.

Nuer Baikeli, chairman and vice secretary of the party committee and other leaders of the autonomous region as well as XJPCC attended the conference, too.
